The dynamic rig works via hinged boom/mast unit that is held in place by the Bi-Pod mast (a frame). The 40 square foot, full batten main and rig are raised and lowered via a single boom-vang line and held in place by the forestay running through the Bi-Pod Mast Top and secured to the bow. To handle the forces from the rig the boom vang is reinforced under the deck with a metal plate and a large metal plate spans the width of the boat under the Bi-Pod Mast.

A 40 sq.ft. spinnaker is stored under the seat when not in use. Launching and stowing is quick and easy. To stow (below sequence) grab the sheet, release the halyard and outhaul lines, and pull the sail into the boat and under the seat. The halyard runs internal through the Bi-Pod mast and to a shackle at the top of the mast. The outhaul runs through the bow sprit on the bow and back to the cockpit. Gybing is achieved simply via a continuous sheet running around the forestay. The spinnaker is great fun and incredibly easy to sail.
