Tyler Bradt, Erik Boomer and Sarah McNair-Landry meet up with their new TRIAKs in San Diego for a test day before heading to Baja, Mexico. Chuck Skewes and the crew from Ullman Sails joined to help out and sample their handy work with TRIAKs new "Techno Sails" which were awesome looking and performed great.

Announced this July, 2011, the new Snuffer2 system for the TRIAK looks great and works flawlessly. The composite hoop and mylar-mesh bag provide effortless spinnaker launches and dowses from the comfort of the cockpit. A bow flange and tie at the rear of the bag, make the Snuffer2 quick and easy to put on and take off the TRIAK for storage and transport. Nice day TRIAKing April 14, 2011 on San Diego Bay. Good breeze about 14-17 with 20 knot gusts. Rocketed down the Bay with the spinnakers on beam and broad reaches going consistently high 9s with mid 11 knots in the puffs. Super fun! Heading back, we furled the main sail slightly and were averaging high 6s and mid 7s knots about 45 degrees off the wind. Great day!
