| Ride |
TRIAK's narrow bow slices through waves and chop. The deck flange helps to deflect water and spray. Comfy and dry. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

Because it is a sit-on-top, the Hobie is a wet ride. A characteristic of the Hobie is nose diving. Better wear your booties and wet suit!

| Transport |
The TRIAK is truly car-top friendly. The main hull unit is only 64 lbs, narrow, and slides on top of your car with Yakima or Thule racks. The wing and floats can go on top or inside depending on the vehicle.

The Hobie really must be transported on a trailer. The amas are quite large and the boat is wide. Here is a photo of a typical transport situation. A trailer adds roughly $2,000 cost, must be stored, towed, insured, and registered yearly.

| Pedal vs. Paddle |
TRIAK offers a traditional kayak-like paddling experience. The boat glides effortlessly through the water and beaches gracefully. |
The Mirage Drive is truly remarkable. The drawbacks are the hand steering, weight and beaching ability. |
